Scene Revision

• Whose point of view is it?
• What does the character want in this scene?
• What has changed by the end?

Mark every place you get bored or stumble.

• Does it start late and leave early?
• Does each line of dialogue do at least two jobs?
• Is there at least one sense besides sight?
• Does the scene turn, from good to bad or bad to good?

In a new document, without looking at the old version.

Read the old and new versions back to back and keep the best of each.
